My journey into the visual arts began in 2000 when I picked up an old film camera that had belonged to my father. As I began to look at theworld around me through its viewfinder I became intrigued with the possibilities.
From there I enrolled in the photography program at SAIT Polytec and then on to the visual arts program at the University of Calgary.
I initially had a wet darkroom and developed and printed all of my own images. I truly loved the process but in time I moved to the digital format which I continue to use today.
over the years my interests have moved from landscapes to architecture and then on to abstracts. I continue to shoot in all these areas predominantly now in Black and white
